Fall is just about to settle in. The temperatures are cooling down, the leaves are beginning to fall, and Football has officially started. September for my family means trips to the local Apple Farms, or visiting the local Farmer’s Market to pick out some fresh apples. You know what they say, an Apple a Day, just may keep the needle away. Well, that was my remix, and so far, so good.
I am grateful that Aspen and Chandler love apples. Chandler would prefer apple sauce, while Aspen prefers for them to be cut in half, while keeping the skin on. And let’s be honest, depending on the type of apples you like will determine how much you spend on your weekly trips to the grocery store.
This will be the third year that we look forward to Apple Picking. I recommend to google the nearest apple farms located to you in your state . Most include an Apple Tree Maze, Petting Farm, Bakery, and Various Outdoor Fun for the whole family to enjoy. Now don’t judge me, but my favorite part is enjoying Fresh warm Apple Cider, Fresh Pies, Apple Fritters, and the Apple Cider Doughnuts. Talk about Heaven in Georgia.
If you want to take it a step further, pack a bag of apples and get creative back at the house with the kids. You will create memories to last a lifetime and they will look forward to it year after year.
And here is a cool activity for the kids to do once they return home from exploring the different apples. We love cool printable.
Happy Fall Yall!
